Goodbye Mundo Mexicano
Mundo’s has been sold. But nobody panic, the new owners will be doing some renovations and reopening soon.
Mundo Mexicano as you know it will be celebrating it’s final encore on Saturday. Be sure to pay your respects. No doubt there will be a few tequila hangovers on Sunday.
Have a feed. Have a fiesta.
Love you Mundo’s.

Twenty Questions with The Feelers
These guys definitely have a sense of humour.
Which band has the flashiest rider in the NZ music biz?
: I heard Opshop require a dozen rent boys, a jar of manuka honey and a small dog.
Any of The Feelers have any special needs when on tour?
: Some might say we all have special needs.

The Feelers are showing you some love
The Feelers new album ‘Hope Nature Forgives’ is testament to the rejuvenated new look and sound of The Feelers. With Andy and Matt on board, James and Hamish decided it was time to stop playing all instruments themselves and go back to playing as a “real band” according to James — and the resulting album is clearly proof of that.
Catch them live in Tauranga 18 September.
Melting Pot: Mount vs Cape Town
Words: Jack Maverick
Bay of Plenty is home to over 80 different ethnicities. Culture is a beautiful thing and everyone I have ever met has wanted to share little nuggets of their own culture. It’s a roots thing. And so this Melting Pot Series is dedicated to stirring the pot between all the people that work and play alongside each other in the Bay.

Introducing Teatree
Teatree will be performing this Thursday at Homemade Jam :: Toi Toi ::: Ohope.
Words: Scarlett Frank
Jono’s deep and grizzly vocals compliments Nikki’s bluesy high tones. Teatree are squishy in all the best places. Listening to them is like toasting marshmallows over a fire.
